But at this point, given the success we're having with our entertainment product and the financials, we deemed that this was the proper move for us. We're not looking back .

Obviously we're celebrating a 36-year legacy on ABC and the end of an era, but we're also celebrating the start of a new era with this great property on ESPN. It's a bit of mixed emotions.

I'm only looking at it in the context of what it does for my company.

It seems clear that OLN is certainly setting itself up as a competitor to ESPN. We welcome it. It will make us better.

The biggest challenge is that the game is at the conclusion of a lot of football games on Sunday.

Everyone at ABC and ESPN mourns the loss of a great friend and colleague. Chris was a pioneer in sports television and was the pre-eminent play-by-play announcer to a generation of sports fans, ... More importantly, he was a true gentleman, beloved by all. He treated everyone with respect and friendship.
